trading joy for protection.

I realize I can’t receive joy or love or peace in intimate connections when everything feels like a threat and I’m on high alert - fearful and judgey AF.

Choosing a partner who offers emotional awareness and maturity, expresses interest in my life and wants to know me deeply, provides consistency and a desire to understand and meet my relational and intimate needs - this is ground zero - the minimum requirement.

And what I bring to my connections.

So it’s really just a request for reciprocation.

Soul trust, faith in Divinity (mine and Universal) and self-love seem like the medicine to apply to this wounding to release it and live more authentically from my higher self.

Fear lives in the lower self and chakras. Love, Peace, Joy and Gratitude all live in the higher self and chakras.

This was another big realization for me.

I am worthy of receiving.
I am worthy of joy.
