Choose Something Else
This is Part 3 in a series of four Post-It Notes that I have on my bedroom vanity mirror.
This one is “Choose Something Else.”
The reason I have these around is that they’re things that have pinged me either through my own channel or something someone else has said or something I’ve read or seen somewhere that I was shown is going to be important for me and sometimes even immediately so.
Other times it’s years down the line or many months before I really understand why that thing was important but it’s usually kind of a forecasting for me.
I saw a really funny reel by a creator on Instagram. She was talking about how she’s just doing all the healing things all the modalities all the crystals all the oils. She’s doing Reiki. She’s doing all of these things except…
…choosing something else.
At the end of the day, we have to be different. We have to do different.
I’ve been asking myself,
“What if I did this differently?”
“What if I showed up differently here?”
“What if I engage differently?”
“What if I responded differently?”
“What if I’m just not even that person anymore?”
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t but it’s been a really helpful process for me that I wanted to share.
Choose Something Else.
