As my Mom was transitioning in Hospice, she imparted only two pieces of advice…
Follow Your Heart
And
Live Your Life.
It’s been nearly a decade since her passing and the words she left me continue to deliver meaning and expansion.
As my consciousness evolves, the foresight of what she shared with me emerges and it just blows me away.
It makes sense that her Soul was speaking then to my Human.
The final imparting in our life here together.
As the veil that separates us from the Heavens got thinner, she got clearer and clearer.
Live your life.
It didn’t mean a ton to me then.
Seemed like a sweet sentiment.
But it was really a call to arms.
Her Soul knew then the journey I would embark on seven years later.
To heal myself and five generations of ancestors before me.
Live YOUR life.
It was a call to end my martyr-y over-giving bullshit.
It was a call to stop making other people main characters in my story.
It was a call to remember who I am and the lineage I come from - here in this lifetime and from the infinity that is divinity.
It was a call to stop trying to belong to other people and start belonging to myself.
It was a call to commit to the most important relationship I’ve had in any lifetime - the one between my Soul being and my Human being.
